How BPMS supports this workflow
The BPMS Home Energy Score workflow brings the building characteristics needed for an HPXML-based submission into the audit experience. Assessors can review envelope assemblies, windows, foundations, attics, HVAC, ducts, domestic hot water, and other required characteristics before generating an export.
Preflight validation is designed to identify missing or inconsistent fields before submission. The submitted HPXML and returned DOE artifacts can remain associated with the audit for review and troubleshooting. Availability of official scoring depends on authorized DOE credentials, API access, and applicable assessor or partner requirements.
