Place openings on eligible wall segments with a green snap preview. Flip doors and windows and adjust their dimensions through Properties.
195 original drafting symbols
Place HVAC, plumbing, electrical, architectural, structural and audit symbols. Resize, rotate and mirror blocks; use audit markers for air leakage, insulation observations, photos and diagnostic locations.
Duct, pipe and wire routing aids
Selected equipment provides conceptual connection points for matching route tools. These snaps help draw connections; existing routes do not automatically follow equipment moves.

Frequently asked questions
Can DraftPro symbols be resized?
Yes. Select a placed symbol and change its width and height in inches in Properties. Dimensions change independently, so adjust both proportionally when you want to preserve the shape.
Can I import and export DXF?
DraftPro supports reusable DXF block import and geometry export. Keep a project JSON backup to retain DraftPro-specific labels, settings and reusable blocks.
Does a DraftPro drawing automatically generate Manual J loads?
No. DraftPro documents geometry and annotations. Load CalC, equipment sizing and duct sizing are separate BPMS workflows; a drawing alone does not create a verified calculation model.
Are the symbols certified or manufacturer-accurate?
The built-in symbols are original conceptual illustrations with editable nominal dimensions. They are independently unreviewed and are not a certified complete industry library or manufacturer clearance drawings.
What appears in an equipment schedule?
The schedule groups visible symbol instances on the active sheet by symbol, size, tag and notes. It counts drawing symbols; it is not a complete material takeoff.
Why will a door or window not attach to a line?
Door and window tools require an eligible Wall object with sufficient length. Plain lines and rectangles are not wall hosts.
